Book: Psalms

In Full Access, Pastor Steve Linton challenges us to stop holding parts of our lives back from God. Using Psalm 139, we see that God already knows our thoughts, our struggles, our fears, and even the places we try to keep hidden. The question isn’t whether God knows—it’s whether we’re willing to invite Him in.

David reminds us that there is nowhere we can go beyond God’s presence. Whether we are on the mountaintop, in the valley, or hiding in the darkest parts of our lives, God is still there. His desire isn’t to shame or condemn us, but to meet us there, hold us, and lead us toward freedom.

The message ultimately brings us to David’s prayer in Psalm 139:23–24: “Search me, God, and know my heart.” There is a difference between God knowing what is inside us and willingly giving Him access to it. When we bring Him our failures, wounds, addictions, fears, anxiety, grief, and shame, we no longer have to carry them alone.

God already knows the unfiltered version of us—and He still loves us. Full access means opening every door, surrendering what we’ve kept hidden, and allowing God to search us, change us, heal us, and lead us in the way everlasting.
